I am a UK based artist and illustrator that creates highly detailed drawings of famous rock stars. They begin as ink drawings but are then coloured in photoshop.
I have been a lyricist for many years now, and as such I am deeply inspired by the rockstars and musicians that shape my world. I hope my art will bring me closer to my heroes.
These icons have given me so much joy, and have brought so much meaning to my life. I believe their art has saved me whilst on my own mental health journey and I’m sure the same can be said for millions of others.
I want viewers to have a strong reaction to my work. I think that by creating images of familiar faces, the viewer may engage that much quicker. I believe this adds a universality to my portraiture.
